We need our System Engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to tackle new challenges across the full-stack as we continue to push security forward.   In this role you will analyze existing systems and define, design, develop, and implement moderately complex technical products and systems. You will be a member of a team comprised of system engineers and application and hardware engineers/developers for the design of unique subsystems that will be ultimately integrated into the overall operating system.    

Responsibilities:

• Assess system architecture and current hardware limitations.
• You will participate in gathering business and product functional and performance requirements
• Define and design system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
• 30% intermittent travel (for 2 week duration)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of study from an accredited institution
• Operating Systems and Applications Administration: Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting (Linux/Unix/OS X). 
• Network Routing, Switching, Firewalls and Infrastructure Administration: Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting. 
• vSphere Administration.
• Physical Installation Practices.
• Ability to communicate, listen to others, think abstractly/work realistically, define limits, and understand policy.
• 0-3 years of systems engineering experience in the defense industry, Master's degree graduates are encouraged to apply
• TS/SCI required, DHS suitability preferred
