Job Description

Parsons has an opportunity for an experienced engineer to perform analysis, modeling, and simulation of all aspects of ballistic missile weapons systems, including: onboard sensors, system dynamics, navigation systems, communications systems and command and control components.  In this role, you will work as part of a highly skilled team of seasoned professionals providing support to the US Department of Defense in a challenging and dynamic work environment on top-level critical defense topics.  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and 8+ years engineering experience, or a Master’s degree and 5+ years’ experience is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI security clearance is required.
• Proficiency at implementing system models in a mainstream programming language, preferably C++, is required, and knowledge of Python or Matlab is also desirable.
• You should be able to assemble study reports and briefings, and present results and recommendations to government customers.
• The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to lead teams on projects and to assist in mentoring and developing more junior engineering staff.
