We need our Senior Geotechnical Specialist to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for structures' foundations. Work includes assessing data from the field, finding ways to ensure foundations or slopes are stable, designing foundations, and overseeing work on a construction site.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and study to assess construction site condition.
  • Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration effectively.
  • Perform field and environmental investigations for construction projects.
  • Analyze geotechnical findings, perform appropriate calculations and prepare data reports to Manager.
  • Develop proposals and determine cost and schedule for investigations.
  • Provide direction to technical team in field inspection activities.
  • Support and advise the Engineering Team on optimal founding and site grading solutions. 
  • Interact with customers and team members to complete the assigned project on-time.
  • Meet with Inspectors, Engineers, Contractors and/or Client to determine corrective actions required when there are discrepancies between work done and the approved plans, specifications and standards. 
  • Evaluate team performance and determine training needs to meet performance objectives.
  • Perform basic office administration tasks when needed.
  • Assist Manager in design and evaluation of constructions.
  • Develop design drawings and specifications for construction projects.
  • Review and approve geotechnical designs developed by outside consultants.
  • Review construction design proposals and approve geotechnical aspects.
  • Perform other responsibilities association with this position as may be appropriate.


  • University Degree in Geology, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 20 years of related work experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and oral. 
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required
