PROJECT:

 

Parsons is managing a technical services contract to review third party A/E work, conduct studies and analysis, testing and measuring, and perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews, commissioning services and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders.

OPPORTUNITY:

 

In this role, you will determine methods and solutions for complex electrical engineering problems for a variety of facility related renovations and select the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives and other projects as assigned.  We need our Engineers on the Technical Services team to apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses within the electrical engineering discipline.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 


As Principal Electrical Engineer you may function as discipline Project Engineer on medium to large projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the group.  You may plan, direct, and supervise the work of a major engineering unit or project requiring a largescale expenditure of manpower and financial investment.  At this level you will lead other Engineers and design personnel in technical excellence and growth in the Quality Improvement Process.  The successful candidate will provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses, prepare material/equipment specifications and purchase requisitions; reviews supplier data; witnesses shop tests, and assist with assessing supplier manufacturing capabilities.  You will develop standard operating procedures,
conduct surveys, studies, site investigations and perform reliability, availability, maintenance (RAM) and safety analyses.  We like our engineers to maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies and recommend and prepares technical papers. Finally, you helps determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule of projects and activities. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and 10+ years of related work experience
  • Professional Engineer registration required
  • Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required
  • Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project.

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI Poly clearance.
