Operations Officer/Manager
Parsons is hiring an Operations Officer to support a major project with the U.S. Army.

If selected Parsons will identify an Operations Officer by name who shall act as the liaison between forward-deployed units and Army Rapid Equipping Force rear element located at Fort Belvoir, VA. The Operations Officer shall be stationed in the CENTCOM AOR and shall coordinate activities and information sharing between the Army Rapid Equipping Force and Army Staff, Major Commands, DoD agencies, and deployable units in the following U.S. Commands: Africa, Central, Pacific, Northern, European, and Southern.

Required Qualifications:

• Employee of Parsons at time of proposal submission.
• 5 years of Army operations experience at the equivalent of E-7 or above, WO-1 or above, O-4 or above.
• Current Secret clearance at time of proposal submission.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions with a program similar in scope and complexity to this TO.

Desired Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• Experience working at the brigade or higher levels with officers and non-commissioned officers.

Must demonstrate proficiency in management and client relations skills. Must be capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management. Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively solve complex problems and exercise excellent judgment regarding engaging senior management involvement in significant issues. In addition, must possess the ability to effectively represent the organization during the leader’s absence and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
