Deployment Support Analyst, Intermediate

Parsons is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill a Intermediate-level Deployment (Site Activation) Support Analyst position providing deployment, logistical, sustainment, and operational support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).  This support includes, but is not limited to, providing or performing planning, analysis, management, and deployed site execution as they relate to these functional areas:

  • Deployment planning, support, and sustainment from project concept through transition to operations
  • Stakeholder coordination through the execution of Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams
  • Facility acquisition process
  • Problem resolution
  • Execution of deployed site operations and support services

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, coordination, synchronization, and execution of site activation and BMDS system deployment requirements. 
  • Developing program planning documents (schedules, statements of work, cost estimate support, activation plans). 
  • Developing site activation facilities requirements documentation and site activation plans. 
  • Development of Standard Operating Procedures for on-site operational activities that promote continual process improvement. 
  • Coordinating and execution of daily administration of BMDS deployed sites. 
  • Mentor and provide guidance/oversight of less experienced analyst.
  • Rotational deployment to BMDS site to support on-site construction activities oversight and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Proficient with  Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project)
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and support product development in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated excellent communications, briefing and writing skills, technical writing capability desired.
  • Ability to work independently or within teams to solve problems
  • Ability to work multiple projects/tasks for different managers
  • Willingness to rotate to remote BMDS sites for 30-40 days at a time up to 4 times per year.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency. 
  • Experience developing facilities requirements documentation
  • Project management experience during site deployment, to include construction, master schedules, budget, and configuration management
  • Experience developing policies, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for site activation, system deployment, and site sustainment practices
  • Experience developing and implementing program activities; coordinating efforts of multiple stakeholders, prime contractors and subcontractors, and support service personnel
  • Experience developing acquisition plans and supporting procurement actions, scopes of work
  • Experience in planning and execution of Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams
