Our team is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to help strengthen our cybersecurity posture of our cloud systems and environments. This is a great role for a versatile engineer capable of working on multiple platforms and technology stacks. In this position, you will be an integral part of the development of cloud infrastructure to support our DevSecOps pipeline. In this role you would be responsible for providing technology leadership and oversight on specifications, development and implementation of information security solutions, specifically on Identity Solutions including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-factor Authentication (MFA). We are also modernizing legacy solutions to more modern technology to minimize risk and improve user experience. You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world, cutting edge systems which are changing how the Space community is doing business. Candidate must have strong troubleshooting and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical location for this work will be at Catalyst Campus in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. Catalyst Campus, located in the historic train station, provides an open, collaborative work environment that inspires creative problem solving where engineers can work hard and play hard.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 years of experience in Cyber Security. Eight (8) years of additional experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree

• Experience with AppArmor or SELinux

• Experience with container runtime security tools (TwistLock, Sysdig)

• Experience with container scanning and hardening tools (openSCAP, Anchore, Docker Benchmark)

• Experience with Identity Management tools (Keycloak, Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth)

• Experience with Zero Trust Policy, Role-based Access (RBAC) and Least Privilege concepts

• Knowledge and experience with Cloud Computing and Amazon Web Services

• Experience with interpretation and application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

• Experience with cybersecurity tools e.g. ACAS, SIEM, HBSS

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

• High level of self-motivation, ability to define, manage, and prioritize tasks in a team environment

• Must be a US citizen due to DoD contract

 Desired Skills:

• Experience with securing Kubernetes Cluster (seccomp, istio service mesh, namespaces, manifest network policies)

• Experience with scripting languages such as Windows Powershell and Unix shell for troubleshooting and automation of routine tasks

• Experience with full DevOps toolchain (e.g. JIRA, Gitlab, Jenkins, Fortify, Artifactory)

• Knowledge and understanding of software agile development life cycle processes

• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Knowledge of automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)

• DoD 8570 Certification (Security+, CCNA, etc.) or ability to obtain

• Top Secret clearance with DCID eligibility for SCI

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to configure and operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
