Ready to put your project management skills to work on a landmark remediation project in the Los Angeles area? Parsons is now hiring a Construction Manager with a desire to deliver a long term geographically dispersed remedial construction project on schedule and within budget.

In this role you will provide construction management of remedial construction activities to ensure work is conducted in accordance with the project goals and schedule.  This includes managing a team of construction oversight representatives, managing and coordinating subcontractor activities and serving as the primary point of contact with the client for construction activities.

  • Serve as Parsons primary point of contact for day to day construction activities on site with client and subcontractors. 
  • Proactively and timely address issues that arise in the field.  Work with team to develop and implement solution.   
  • Monitors and drive schedule and construction efficiency 
  • Provide daily direction and communication to team of construction site leads. 
  • Identify changes in scope, schedule and budget and notify Management Team in a timely manner.  Assist in developing change order requests
  • Review and process daily reports and provide updates for weekly report.
  • Implements project safety plan and ensures that it is communicated to all employees on the job site.  Actively promotes and supports safety culture and policies and monitors the job site for good safety practices. Reports incidents to client in timely manner and participate in root cause investigations.
  • Participate in the weekly meetings and document meeting notes.
  • Keeps client and project manager informed of the day-to-day activities of the project.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


  • 4-year degree in an engineering, technical or construction-related field (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years related work experience is required
