Do you want to be part of a team that supports USCYBERCOM's unique software development in support of one-of-a-kind cyberspace operations capabilities?  We're looking for someone who is a high-speed software developer to be a key contributor to that team. 

You will:

  • Develop security software with minimal guidance
  • Identify and develop improvements to security controls currently in place with minimal guidance
  • Contribute to the development of tests plans and evaluation reports, and assist during activities for testing software security mechanisms for operation effectiveness and deployment readiness
  • Assist in the conduct of vulnerability assessments and penetration test activities
  • Evaluate processes and procedures to integrate and enhance security capabilities in test and operational environments

Requirements:

  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience as a Software Developer or related functional area
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP or higher (minimum DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification)
  • Active TS/SCI + Polygraph

Preferred / Desired Skills:

  • Languages: C/C++ or assembly
  • Platforms: Either Windows (predominantly), Unix, or Android
  • Assembly Types: ARM / 32 or 64 bit x86 / MIPS
  • Vulnerability Analysis or Kernel / system level programming

Location: Fort Meade

No Shift Work

Some Travel required

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI Poly clearance.
