Job Description


  • Review results of C3BM Space and Network trade studies and perform analysis to develop product-level functional, interface, and performance requirements. 
  • Investigate alternate C3BM concepts and architectures that satisfy the performance requirements in these areas. 
  • Engage in C3BM contributing space systems activities, including SBIRS Increments 1 and 2 interface design, development, documentation, test, and BOA capabilities.
  • Work with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to manage Enterprise Sensor Processing Node (ESPN) and Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) OPIR Architecture (BOA) systems engineering and integration activities for exchanging information in support of the integrated missile defense requirements.
  • Provide specific strategic support services, total lifecycle acquisition management support services, and strategic business management support services to the MDA/BCDS work area. Develop and review architecture for BMDS Space integrated assets and integration schedules, network interface designs, BCDS integration and testing, and integration/fielding plans. Assess the space design and present the results in briefings. Document trade studies and architectural findings in reports.


  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Preferred Degrees: Computer Science; Information Systems; Engineering Discipline; STEM
  • SECRET clearance required (TS preferred with eligibility for SCI)
  • Proficiency in Space-based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) and the integration / interfacing with the MDA systems.
  • Program management and project management skill in support of Prime Contractor development product, schedules, contract evaluations.
  • Real-world knowledge and experience with Combatant Command mission execution
  • Integration knowledge associated with information technology systems, information management and information security systems, software development life cycle, network node development; network operations, program integration
  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts. MDA or military experience are a plus
  • Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment; apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration and operations; maintains the capability to develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; and works within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractor and Supporting Contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret clearance.
