Qualified candidates must be able to assist in the design of functional, automation and system tests, identify, record, and track defects, and execute customer-witnessed acceptance testing. Successful candidates will be required to build and support automated testing frameworks, create automation test scripts, detailed test procedures, annotated test records, and detailed defect reports. The successful candidates must be flexible, self-motivated, hardworking, and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or a similar field (work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • 5+ years of experience in software test engineering
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in automation development and functional testing fields
  • Experience in automated testing with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium
  • Experience with Cucumber / Gherkin or other behavior-driven testing framework
  • Experience with configuration and provisioning tools like Jenkins or GitLab for integration with CI/CD/build pipelines
  • Must be experienced in test engineering concepts including testing principles and concepts, tracking defects and communicating testing status
  • Experience with API testing (SOAP and/or REST)
  • Functional use of Python, Java, and JavaScript to automate tests in those languages
  • Experience working with Linux, UNIX, and/or Windows
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical team members, managers, and customers


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Shell/Bash and Python
  • Ability to read and interpret network traffic using Wireshark
  • Understanding of network protocols like TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, DNS, SCP, FTP, H323, QUIC, PPPoE
  • Working with network devices, firewall rules, ACL, IPtables, and WAN/LAN configuration
  • Knowledge in network configuration
  • Familiarization with load/performance testing tools: Apache JMeter, HP LoadRunner
  • Knowledge of computer networks and operating systems principles
  • Prior experience in cyber operations
  • Familiarization with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Xen, OpenStack, VirtualBox)
  • Familiarization with container and orchestration technologies (Docker, Compose, Kubernetes)

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Prescreen Required clearance.
