Parsons is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer to provide technical engineering expertise to MDA/DPF leadership to assess technical/engineering issues and aid evaluating technical alternatives. Travel 4-6 weeks per quarter as required, both CONUS and OCONUS


  • Possesses demonstrated experience in various engineering, scheduling, planning, programming, design, construction, operations, environmental and start-up aspects of the facility related projects.
  • Works tasks in support of government.
  • Responsible for understanding the requirements for technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project, including coordination of technical disciplines, and construction planning assistance.
  • The ability to relate these requirements to existing issues and projects is a must.
  • Previous project engineering experience is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Mechanical, Electrical and/or Civil Engineering related field experience is a plus.
  • Must also have a working knowledge of: USACE/DPW Construction Projects Surveillance and Oversight. 2. Construction Projects Shop Drawings, RFIs and Submittal Reviews. 3. Design and Construction Schedule Reviews. 4. Project Planning and Design Scoping Sessions/Charettes. 5. Briefing Preparation (Power Point) and White Paper Preparation (Word) as Required. 6.  Facility Assessments, Master Planning Reviews/Oversight, Facility Operations and Environmental issues and how they may impact current situations and problems.

Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering and 12+ years of related facility engineering experience, a broad general facility engineering background and previous experience in a project-engineering role is required. Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degrees acceptable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency.
  • Professional registration is a plus.
  • Secret Clearance
